Fiona Scott-Norman is a nonfiction and humour writing specialist. She is the author of This Chicken Life: Stories of Chickens and the Australians who Love Them (2019), Don't Peak at High School (2011), Bully For Them: Outstanding Australians on Hard Lessons Learned at School (4), and 50 Reasons to Quit/Keep Smoking (2009).

FSN writes a regular (hilarious) column for The Big Issue, and comes from a background in theatre and comedy criticism (The Age, The Bulletin), and arts journalism. She rocks a portfolio career and also identifies as a cabaret director, stand-up comic, DJ, radio presenter and chookspert. Oh, and teacher (obviously).

Fiona teaches non-fiction in our Associate Degree.
