Luke Horton

Luke Horton_RMIT

Luke Horton is a writer, editor and musician from Melbourne. His writing has appeared in various publications, including Meanjin, The GuardianThe Saturday Paper, and The Australian, and was shortlisted for the Viva La Novella prize.

Luke finished the Associate Degree in Professional Writing and Editing at RMIT in 2014. In 2015, he was awarded an editorial internship at Australian Book Review and became assistant editor for a year. From 2016 to 2020, he was the editor of The Lifted Brow Review of Books.

A member of acclaimed indie-rock band Love of Diagrams, Luke’s debut novel, The Fogging, was highly commended for the Victorian Premier’s Award for an Unpublished Manuscript in 2019, and was published to critical acclaim in 2020 by Scribe Publications.

Luke teaches editing in our Associate Degree.
