Sarah Vincent_RMIT_Associate Degree of Professional Writing and Editing

Sarah Vincent graduated from RMIT’s Associate Degree in Professional Writing and Editing in 2016. Her memoir Death By Dim Sim was published by Penguin Random House in 2017 and by Audible in 2018.

She has had short works published in The Victorian WriterVisible InkSpineless Wonders’ Out of Place Anthology, and Gargouille Journal. Her writing has been shortlisted in the Joanne Burns Award, the Bridport Flash Fiction Prize and The Lifted Brow & RMIT non/fictionLab Prize for Experimental Nonfiction. She has been on panels at the Emerging Writers Festival, the Willy Lit Fest and the Brimbank Writers and Readers Festival.

Sarah worked at Writers Victoria as their Membership Officer for five years until 2018. She has taught creative writing at Swinburne University, Writers Victoria and at several libraries across the state. She is currently working on a crime fiction manuscript and a YA novel. She has taught at RMIT since 2018.

Sarah teaches professional writing and archetypes and imagery in our Associate Degree.
