Two PWE students receive Varuna Residencies in 2020

Varuna Writers Residence

Two students associated with the Associate Degree of Professional Writing and Editing received Varuna Residencies in 2020.

Current student Tim Loveday received a Varuna Residential Fellowship to work on the birds are singing while we sleep, and former student Beau Windon received the same for Wild Against The World.

Administered by the Eleanor Dark Foundation, Varuna is recognised as Australia’s pre-eminent institution for writing development. Each year, over 150 writers participate in residencies and professional development programs at Varuna, and many hundreds more readers and writers participate in our workshop programs and literary events.
