Venita Munir sits on the Industry Advisory Group for the Associate Degree of Professional Writing and Editing at RMIT University.

Venita is a Melbourne writer, editor and doctor, and graduated from PWE in 2016. She works as a medical editor for the not-for-profit organisation, Therapeutic Guidelines Ltd.

She writes fiction and music reviews, and has had various micro- and short fiction published. Venita's micro fiction piece ‘Amplification’ was a finalist in the 2015 joanne burns micro fiction award (Spineless Wonders). Her first novel manuscript was a finalist in the HARDCOPY program for fiction in 2016, and was longlisted for the Kill Your Darlings Unpublished Manuscript Award in 2019.
