STUDENT TESTIMONIALS
Choosing to study RMIT’s Associate Degree in Professional Writing and Editing was one of the best decisions of my life. The teachers offer a level of personal mentoring and support I’ve never experienced before, and the extensive workshopping is invaluable. In an age when student experiences can be increasingly atomised and alienated, PWE is a real and diverse community of writers. Thanks to what I learnt in the course, I’ve had my work published and now write and edit for a living.

I love the friendly environment at PWE! It abounds with support, encouragement and understanding. Being part of a collaborative cohort that shares the same writing and editing dreams is very fulfilling. Helmed by inspiring and esteemed professionals in the industry, makes this a very worthwhile journey!

Without PWE my dreams to be a published writer wouldn’t have eventuated. PWE is like family, my lecturers were more than teachers, and the program arms you with all the tools needed to succeed across multiple industries. If you want to be a writer, PWE is your first step in the right direction.

I’m actually taking a year off this year because I’ve just got my dream job as the Deputy Editor of The Big Issue Magazine, which is a job I would never have imagined getting without having done the course.
